Wednesday 1 March marks the first anniversary of new miracle treatments for hepatitis C becoming widely available in Australia. Nearly 15% have taken the lifesaving cure, but more than 200,000 who could have been, but are not yet cured.
More than 30,000 hepatitis C patients in Australia have been treated with revolutionary drugs since their listing on the PBS in March last year.
