Education and Training Services
We provide free education and training sessions to community workers and organisations that work with people affected by viral hepatitis or at risk of hepatitis. We hold regular training sessions at our Brunswick office or we can tailor a session and come to you anywhere in Victoria.
our statewide workforce development activities include:
- updates on hepatitis C and hepatitis B in relation to workplace and client issues
- developing and delivering customised educational workshops
- establishing prisoner peer education programs and training for correctional staff
- facilitation and support for partnerships with services on funding submissions, advisory committees, and special health promotion projects.

& a final follow up session in February 2014
All training will be held at Hepatitis Victoria, Suite 5, 200 Sydney Road Brunswick.
Any Victorian with hepatitis C.
This course is particularly useful for people who may be struggling with health related behaviours, such as; not getting enough exercise, over reliance on alcohol or other drugs, and dealing with mental health issues to develop strategies to better manage their health and wellbeing. Hep C: Take Control is also a great preparation for treatment – a person can begin to deal with health related issues, and learn new ways to deal with them before starting on treatment
