LIVERability Grants 2018


Applications for the 2018 LIVERability Grants have now CLOSED...

As part of World Hepatitis Day and the LIVERability Festival 2018, Hepatitis Victoria offers small grants of up to $1,000 to community and not for profit organisations to conduct activities that will raise awareness of viral hepatitis and reduce stigma and discrimination associated with the disease.

The grants program has now been running for eight years and has been enthusiastically received by organisations across the whole of Victoria.

To be eligible for a grant, you need to be:

    • A community or not for profit organisation based within the Australian state of Victoria
    • Able to organise an information education session for your staff and/or community that will be delivered by Hepatitis Victoria at your preferred location within a month of the proposed event or activity
    • Advertise your event or activity to your community
    • Provide feedback report (photographs, media involvement...other) to Hepatitis Victoria follow the event

**Past events have included community barbeques providing information to attendees on viral hepatitis, a puppet show discussing hepatitis B, Love your Liver healthy lunches education with community groups and the development of resources that addresses stigma and discrimination.
